UnType Payments & Refunds Policy. Effective day 15th May 2023

Payment Terms

By purchasing any of our Services and providing UnType or its third-party payment provider with your payment information, you hereby agree to these payment terms.

  • To purchase any services or products UnType offers through the Services, you must have Internet access and a valid, accepted payment method ("Payment Method").

  • All UnType Services and Plans are default offered as monthly or yearly recurring subscriptions.

  • All the payments are processed through third-party online payment gateway providers (such as Razorpay). You agree to UnType, or its third-party payment provider (such as Razorpay), storing and accessing your payment information. You can review their terms of service and privacy policy to understand how they handle your payments and data.

  • You also agree to pay the applicable fees for the services or products you purchase through the UnType Services as they become due, whether on a one-time, instalment, or subscription basis.

  • Fees may vary based on your location, the type of Payment Method used, where your Payment Method was issued, or other contractual arrangements. Your transaction with us may be subject to foreign exchange fees or differences in prices, including because of exchange rates.

  • Multiple modes of payment, such as UPI, Credit, Debit & others, will be made available for users. Users may be required to provide the card number, expiry date, CVV, and UPI Identifier, as prescribed by the financial institutions issuing the cards.

  • UnType does not support all payment methods, currencies or locations for payment and may vary such offerings from time to time.

  • Additionally, you understand and agree that not all promotions and pricing are available to all Customers. That specific additional terms and conditions may apply to certain promotional programs, pricing, or geographic locations

  • You agree to use your own valid Payment Method and not impersonate or otherwise use a Payment Method to avoid regulatory restrictions

  • You understand that UnType reserves the right to amend or change any of the payment, cancellation, or refund terms at any time that takes effect immediately.

  • You are expected to exercise caution when making payments online to avoid becoming a victim of fraud or cybercrime activity.

  • UnType is not liable for any loss or damage arising due to payments, cancellations, refunds, or any related terms or activities, in any way or form.

Automatic Subscription-Based Payments. BY SELECTING AN AUTOMATIC SUBSCRIPTION-BASED PLAN, YOU EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZE UNTYPE TO AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE THE APPLICABLE RECURRING MONTHLY OR ANNUAL FEE AND ANY AND ALL APPLICABLE TAXES TO YOUR PAYMENT METHOD UNLESS AND UNTIL YOU CANCEL, ARE REMOVED, OR TERMINATE THE PLAN. For any Services or products that are provided on a recurring subscription basis, your first monthly payment will be charged immediately to your Payment Method upon your subscription. Upon completion of your payment, your access to all benefits of the relevant plan begins, and so does the thirty (30) day refund period.

Price Changes. We reserve the right to modify, terminate, or otherwise amend the fees and features associated with your subscription. If we notify you in advance of at least fifteen (15) days, your continued use of UnType after the changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the changes. If you do not wish to continue subscribing with the new fees or features, you may terminate your subscription by cancelling at any time. If you accept the new subscription, its terms and conditions with these Terms will apply for all future months.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Cancelling your automatic monthly or yearly subscription. Your automatic subscription will continue unless and until you cancel your subscription or we terminate it. You may cancel your automatic subscription renewal at any by reaching out to us at [email protected]. As we roll out integrated online payments on the platform, we will provide an easier option on the Account Settings to cancel your subscription, subject to further confirmation of the same.

You must cancel your automatic monthly or yearly subscription the day before your next billing date occurs in order to avoid being billed for the next period's fee. There is no refund for the remaining period of the month in which you cancelled. Following your subscription cancellation, you may not have any access to UnType.

Cancellation terms for Manual Subscriptions. Your manual subscription will start immediately after your manual purchase and continue until the subscription validity ends, you cancel your subscription, or we terminate it. You will be provided the seven (7) days cancellation and refund period within which to cancel your manual purchase. There will be no further refunds following the seven (7) days refund period. You may cancel your subscription by reaching out to us at [email protected]. As we roll out integrated online payments on the platform, we will provide an easier option on the Account Settings to cancel your subscription, subject to further confirmation of the same. Following your subscription cancellation, you may not have any access to UnType.

Refunds

Refunds will only be processed if a cancellation/refund request is raised within the stipulated time period of 7 days for monthly subscriptions and 30 days for annual subscriptions. You can request a refund within this stipulated time period by reaching out to us at [email protected]

  • Since we provide enough free credits for every user before they start any paid subscriptions, all credits consumed in paid subscriptions are non-refundable. Refunds will be adjusted based on the active credits at the time of cancellation.

  • Any special benefits, discounts, coupons, referral benefits, annual plan benefits, discounted pricing, and other benefits are non-refundable. Annual plans or New user plans with special benefits are non-refundable. Refund computation in such cases as per the original price of the plan.

  • There will be no refunds on any of the taxes (including GST) and services charges, such as payment gateway charges and others. An additional processing fee might be deducted from the refund based on your refund request and the reason for cancellation.

  • It might take up to 30 days to evaluate and process your refund request.
